Terema has used its expertise to train a wide range of healthcare professionals, in multidisciplinary teams, throughout the United Kingdom in the techniques of error avoidance and error management. The focus in healthcare, as reinforced by the DOH document “Organisation with a Memory”, has been to learn from mistakes. We complement this approach by allowing healthcare professionals to use skills proactively so that errors are avoided or managed.
